Triestine, class 1979, Giulia starts playing golf at the age of 9 at the Golf Club Trieste, when the courses where finished in only 9 holes and the fairways were made of stones.She passed to professionalism in 1999 after an excellent amateur carrier with a superlative conquer in 1998: the individual European title.
Among her best results the second position achieved in the ShopRite Classic (2004), the ninth in the Corona Championship (2007) and other performances in the majors: fifth at the British Open (2004), sixth at the US Open (2008), tenth at the McDonalds LPGA Championship (2008) and eleventh at the British Open (2009).
During the last two seasons she participated at the LET achieving the fourth place at the Australian Open (2010), the second during the New Zealand Open, the third at the Uniqa Open and a fifth place at the Iris Open (2011).
Since 2011 Giulia is part of the Italian Pro Team, a staff of professional technicians, trainers and coaches, that thanks to the Federazione Italiana Golf’s support is present during many competitions of the European circuit calendar.
In 2012 Giulia enters the Colmar team. The first results of the new year come from Australia, where she classified herself eleventh at the Gold Coast Ladiest Master and thirty-seventh at the first leg of the Melbourne’s LPGA. Lap that has been “stained” by the rain and the wind.
